Electric Vehicles and Smart Cities Workshop was held in cooperation with Ankara City Council, Ankara Metropolitan Municipality and Chamber of Electrical Engineers (EMO) Ankara Branch.
Approximately 150 people attended the workshop, which was held to raise awareness about electric vehicles and smart cities, to follow sectoral developments and to introduce technological innovations.
ENERGY MANAGEMENT AND SUSTAINABILITY ARE TARGET
Within the scope of the workshop held in Ankara City Council in Youth Park; It is aimed to raise awareness about electric vehicles and smart cities, to follow sectoral developments and innovations, to introduce technological innovations, to talk about the risks encountered and to be encountered, electric vehicle technology, charging infrastructure, smart city planning, transportation management, energy management and sustainability.
Speaking at the workshop as the host, Halil İbrahim Yılmaz, President of the Union of Turkish City Councils (TKKB) and Ankara City Council (AKK), said, “There is no such workshop under the leadership of the energy working group we formed within the scope of the work of our Capital Ankara Environment and Climate council and the Ankara branch of the Chamber of Electrical Engineers. We are trying to support you. You have seen the sensitivity of our Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Mayor on this issue. Electric vehicles have now become the abandonment of commercial and industrial life. Our cities have to become smarter institutionally, physically, economically and socially. We can be the pioneer of recycling in the world, you can be the pioneer of it. This city has become a pioneer city regarding this process.”
