The first karting challenge of the 2023 season, sponsored by ICRYPEX, was organized by Bursa Uludağ Motor Sports Club (BUMOSK) on April 29-30, the first leg of the MOTUL Turkey Karting Championship, at TOSFED Körfez Track. While the first day of the Western Corporate Karting Race, where three races were held with the participation of 5 athletes in 72 different categories, witnessed great competition under the rain, sports lovers watched exciting races in sunny weather on Sunday.
In the micro category open to the participation of athletes aged 6-9, Doruk Sırnaç came first, Guido Ebergenyi Milicevic second and Nihat Karadeniz third, while Can Özler, Rüzgar Evci second, and Cem Karakömür came third in the 7-12 age mini category. Hakkı Dorum, Yağız Tekşan and Ayşe Çebi ranked first in the junior category between the ages of 12-15, while Gün Taşdelen came first, Kerim Sulyak second, and Batı Ege Yıldırım third in the senior category over 3 years old. Can Özdoğan, Murathan Gür and Barış Karadeniz took the first three places in the master category over 14 years old. Ayşe Çebi came first, Nisan Kalkavan second, and Leyla Sulyak third in the women's junior category, while Zeynep Çukurova came first and Sena Savaşer second in senior women.
At the ceremony held after the races, the winners were given their awards.
