Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality Transportation Coordination Center (UKOME) meeting was held at Kocaeli Congress Center. At the meeting held under the chairmanship of Secretary General Balamir Gündoğdu, 81 items were discussed. At the meeting, decisions were taken to reduce the traffic load of Kocaeli city. In this context, it was decided to transport the export vehicles produced by Ford Otosan by sea.
VEHICLES WILL BE TRANSPORTED WITH TWO SHIPS
MF Gelibolu and MF Çanakkale Ships will transport export vehicles manufactured at Ford Otosan in Başiskele district to Maltepe and Yenikapı ports in Istanbul. With this decision, Kocaeli's highway traffic will be relieved and citizens will be provided with fast and comfortable transportation.
6500 TRAILER WAS TOWED FROM THE LAND
UKOME had previously allowed the vehicles produced at Ford Otosan Factory to be transported by sea to Körfez Yarımca Port. With the decision made, it was ensured that 3 trailers were withdrawn from the road in 6500 months and the traffic load was reduced.
