Within the scope of Aviation, Space and Technology Festival TEKNOFEST, the finals of the Robotaxi Passenger Autonomous Vehicle Competition, which was organized under the leadership of Informatics Valley and TUBITAK, were held in Informatics Valley.
Within the scope of the world's largest Aviation, Space and Technology Festival TEKNOFEST, the Robotaxi Passenger Autonomous Vehicle Competition finals, which was organized by Bilişim Vadisi and TÜBİTAK, were held in Informatics Valley between 10-13 April 2023. A total of 23 students competed in the competition, 8 vehicles in the original vehicle category and 470 vehicles in the ready-made vehicle category provided by TEKNOFEST.
Varank and Bayraktar met with young people in IT Valley
In the competition, the main purpose of which was the development of autonomous driving algorithms, teams competed to be the best by producing all vehicles from A to Z in the "Original Vehicle Category" and ran their software on the autonomous vehicle platforms provided by Bilişim Vadisi in the "Ready Car Category". In the competition where high school, associate, undergraduate, graduate students and graduates participated, teams consisting of high school students and teams consisting of university and higher levels competed in the same category. Mustafa Varank and Selçuk Bayraktar, who did not leave the youth alone on Thursday, April 13, when the finalists were determined, met with the teams one-on-one and chatted about their work.
Final TEKNOFEST is in Istanbul
Teams that made it to the finals of the Robotaksi Passenger Autonomous Vehicle Races held in the IT Valley will participate in the final races at TEKNOFEST Istanbul, which will be held at Atatürk Airport on April 27-May 01. Among the teams that ranked in the finals, the winner of the Original Vehicle Category will receive a prize of 130 thousand TL, the second 110 thousand TL, and the third 90 thousand TL. The first place in the Ready Vehicle Category will receive a cash prize of 100 thousand TL, the second 80 thousand TL, and the third 60 thousand TL.
