PEUGEOT was once again awarded the Red Dot Award for its outstanding design this year. The new PEUGEOT 408, with its SUV-coded dynamic silhouette, flawless fastback design and striking lines, convinced the 43-member international jury in the "Product Design" category, enabling PEUGEOT to receive the coveted design award for the eighth time.
PEUGEOT wins the eighth Red Dot Award in brand history with the new 408. The PEUGEOT 408 convinced the jury with its slim and elegant silhouette. The new PEUGEOT 408 draws attention with its sharp lines, especially at the rear, at the end of the roof, on the trunk lid and on the fenders. Six body colors are available to choose from, including the new Obsession Blue and Titanium Grey. Combined with its characteristic cat stance, the new PEUGEOT 408's dynamic silhouette with SUV code stands out with the most striking C segment fastback concept in its class with its flawless design language and sharp and accentuated lines. The body-colored front grille, which is offered as standard in the GT equipment level, integrates with the front. The new PEUGEOT 408 is the same zamIt also proudly carries the brand's new logo. The form of the rear bumper also gives the model a strong stance. The PEUGEOT 408 takes its place in the brand's product range with its characteristic light signature at the front and three-claw LED headlights at the rear.
Like the exterior, the interior also draws attention with an attractive design. The design of the seats further emphasizes the quality of the materials used. Depending on the version, Falgo Half Leather Fabric Upholstery, Mint Green Stitched Seats and Alcantara Half Leather Fabric Upholstery, Adamite Green Stitched Seats are offered, while Black Nappa Leather Upholstery and Blue Nappa Leather Upholstery are optionally available. In addition, the LED ambient lighting behind the center console provides soft lighting and adds to the elegant atmosphere of the interior. The new fastback model not only draws attention with a striking design, but also zamAt the same time, it stands out with the most up-to-date driving support systems and the latest engine technology. Staying true to the slogan of “Freedom of Choice”, PEUGEOT 408 was imported to Turkey with a 1.2 PureTech 130 HP engine and 8-speed EAT8 automatic transmission in the first stage, while a fully electric version is planned to be offered for sale in the future.
2023 Red Dot Award
In 2023, products from 60 countries were evaluated in 51 competition categories. Jury members will receive the “Red Dot” or “Red Dot: Best of the Best” award; according to the four attributes of good design and the relevant criteria of sociocultural character, professional focus and design expertise. In addition, products are evaluated individually, not in competition with each other.
