Believing in the unifying and motivating power of sports, Mercedes-Benz extended its sponsorship contract with the Turkish Football Federation (TFF) for two more years. Supporting Men's National Football Teams uninterruptedly since 1996, Mercedes-Benz became the 'Main Sponsor of Turkish Football National Teams' with the new contract, also supporting the Women's National Football Team and the e-National Football Team.
TFF President Mehmet Büyükekşi and Mercedes-Benz Automotive Chief Executive Officer Şükrü Bekdikhan, as well as TFF Deputy Chairman and Executive Board Member Alkın Kalkavan, attended the signing ceremony held on 21 March 2023 at the Riva facilities, hosted by the TFF. With the new contract, Mercedes-Benz announced that it will support TFF with fully electric Mercedes-EQ cars for the first time. Under the new contract, it will put 81 Mercedes-EQ cars, including EQS, EQE and EQB models, into the service of the federation.
