The DS PENSKE team of DS Automobiles has received the highest level of environmental accreditation called “3 Stars/Best Practice” from the International Automobile Federation FIA.
The FIA's environmental accreditation program aims to help organizations at the forefront of motorsport measure and improve their environmental performance. Environmental impact is a major concern for the International Automobile Federation and all stakeholders in the ABB FIA Formula E Championship. For the 100th season of the 9% electric series, the DS PENSKE team was nominated for 2021 stars in November 3 and was ultimately rewarded for all their work on sustainability measures. Among these measures are environmental performance, reduction of energy consumption, better logistics efficiency, optimized waste management and initiation of a carbon offset program. All of these measures form part of a long-term environmental commitment. Formula E, the first sport to receive zero carbon certification from the FIA in 2020, and these initiatives of the DS PENSKE team create a complete synergy with all the steps taken by DS Automobiles and provide another important alliance in the field of energy transition.
Since its establishment in 2014, DS Automobiles has kept the transition to electric energy at the center of its strategy.
