Emphasizing that the adventure, which started with President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's dream of a domestic automobile, will open the door to new smart markets and new investments with the arrival of Togg on the roads, Varank said that the efforts to establish a network of charging stations that will power the domestic automobile that will meet with the users are continuing rapidly.

Varank stated that companies continue their investments within the scope of the "Charging Stations Support Program" initiated by the Ministry of Industry and Technology in order to ensure the widespread use of electric vehicles.

Varank, who informed that the number of public fast charging stations (DC) serving across Turkey at the moment exceeds 500 and the number of AC charging units exceeds 2 thousand, stated that the charging stations, which have become widespread with 81, have been made ready on the highways where vehicle traffic is concentrated, as well as the city centers. he did.

Emphasizing that the companies benefiting from the support program of the Ministry are working hard to complete the installation of the targeted 1571 fast charging stations, Varank also stated that 119 companies licensed by the Energy Market Regulatory Authority have started charging station investments within the scope of their minimum obligations.

Noting that they expect their charging station investments to increase with Togg taking its place on the roads, Varank said:

By the end of 2023, we expect more than 2 thousand charging stations, more than 5 thousand of which are high-speed, to be operational.
