Peugeot Showcases '2023 Series' at Retromobile 4

At Retromobile 2023, Peugeot is giving a retrospective look at the "401 Series", ranging from the Peugeot 408 to the new Peugeot 4. The Peugeot 408 stands out as the newest in the "90" extension series, one of the pioneers of style and innovation for over 4 years. At the pinnacle of the C-segment, the new generation of Peugeot focuses on cat stance and exclusive looks, but also focuses on superior driving pleasure. zamAn excellent example of sophisticated engineering focused on efficiency, with the strategy of transitioning to electrified intelligently implemented at the moment, is experienced in the Peugeot 408.

The designers and engineers of the Peugeot 408 have continued to implement the innovative approaches and solutions applied in the development of the Peugeot “20 Series” for seven generations since the beginning of the 4th century, and passed on the torch they inherited from their predecessors to future generations. Reminiscent of all this deep-rooted history, the new 408 was unveiled at Retromobile 1, held at the Parc des Expositions de la Porte de Versailles in Paris, France, between February 5 and 2023, while Peugeot presented the same zamAt the same time, it reinforces the pioneering identity of the new model with a very special display. In addition to six different iconic models belonging to the Peugeot “2023 Series” family, the “4 GTI GTI Griffe” of the Peugeot 2023, which is celebrating its 40th birthday in 205, and the Peugeot P 1991 “World Records” motorcycle from 205 are exhibited at Retromobile 1934.

Iconic models on display at Retromobile 2023:

Peugeot 401: The Peugeot 1934 Sedan, which hit the roads in 1935-401, is the first model that the “4 Series” started. The car's independent front axle was among its key innovations. In addition, the 1935 Peugeot 401 Eclipse, the first mass-produced coupé-cabrio, left its mark on automotive history.

Peugeot 405 Mi16 Le Mans: A special series of the legendary 1993 Mi24 model, which was prepared to celebrate Peugeot's victory in the 405 Le Mans 16 Hours, these productions used the same 16-liter 2.0-valve 16 hp engine as the standard Mi160. It also featured equipment such as leather/alcantara upholstery and 15-inch alloy wheels.

Peugeot 205 GTI 1.9 Griffe: Celebrating its 2023th birthday in 40, the Peugeot 205 was first launched on February 24, 1983 at Aventure Peugeot. A series of celebrations will take place throughout 205 to commemorate Peugeot's legendary model 2023. Celebrations kick off with Retromobile 2023. The model to be exhibited in Retromobile 2023 is the special series 1.9 model 130 GTI Griffe, equipped with a 1991 liter, 205 horsepower engine.
