Continuing to be the first choice of both fleet customers and individual users, Mercedes-Benz Turk has started to introduce innovations in the truck product family to its customers. Equipped with the new generation OM 471 engine, Mercedes-Benz Actros and Arocs models provide up to 4% fuel efficiency compared to the previous generation, according to the selected driving mode, while the standard equipment of the vehicles has been expanded. Mercedes-Benz Turk started to offer the Powershift transmission as standard in the Atego model, which is used extensively in urban distribution, short distance transportation and public applications in the light truck segment.

Mercedes-Benz Türk started to introduce innovations it offers in the tractor, construction and cargo-distribution groups, consisting of Actros, Arocs and Atego, to its customers. The company, which makes innovations in the truck model family in line with market conditions and demands from its customers, aims to be the first choice of fleet customers and individual users with its new generation trucks.

The Mercedes-Benz Actros family is “very powerful, very profitable” with its 3rd generation OM 471 engine.

Mercedes-Benz Turk has started to offer the new generation of the OM 471 engine, which set the standards with its previous two generations, in the Actros family. The new generation OM 471 engine, which has been introduced since October and has achieved many innovations that increase efficiency, is equipped with features that can respond to all kinds of demands of customers and drivers.

Having a new ignition system, the 3rd generation OM 471 is offered with the most suitable turbo feeding options for engine power. The engine, which is offered with fuel consumption-oriented turbo feeding in Mercedes-Benz Actros tractors and trucks up to 480 PS, provides fuel efficiency ranging from 3 percent to 4 percent compared to the previous generation, depending on the turbocharger and the selected driving mode. Actros tractors and trucks with 510 PS – 530 PS power year are equipped with power-oriented turbocharger.

Equipped with the G281-12 gearbox, the Mercedes-Benz Actros 1848 LS model offers an extra 7 Nm of torque between 12th and 200th gears in standard and power driving modes. With this feature, extra power is provided at the push of a button in situations that require more performance, such as on highway ramps or overtaking.

With the 3rd generation OM 471 engine, there were also changes in Powerbrake (reinforced engine braking) power. Powerbrake offers power between 380 kW and 425 kW depending on the turbo type.

The Powershift Advanced package, which provides faster gear shifting and more accurate gear selection at start-ups, has started to be offered as standard in vehicles with the 3rd generation OM 471 engine. With the Powershift Advanced package, which was initially offered only to vehicles with the 3rd generation OM 471 engine, improved starting and shifting performance, torque interruption time reduced by up to 40 percent and optimized clutch control are offered.

Mercedes-Benz Turk has also started to offer significant changes in the cockpits of the Actros family. While the instrument panel of the classic cockpit offered in the Mercedes-Benz Actros 1845 LS model has been increased from 10,4 cm to 12,7 cm, the 1848-inch multimedia cockpit offered as standard in the Mercedes-Benz Actros L 1851 and Actros L10 LS models has been replaced by the Mercedes-Benz Actros L 1851. The 12-inch Multimedia Cockpit Interactive, which is offered as standard in the LS Plus package, has been switched. Thus, the 12-inch Multimedia Cockpit Interactive has now become standard in the entire Mercedes-Benz Actros L tractor family.

All members of the Actros L family have switched to LED headlights, thanks to the introduction of LED headlights previously offered in Mercedes-Benz Actros L1851 and Actros L 1851 Plus models, as well as in Actros L 1848. In addition, a new comfortable mattress for the lower bed and distance control assistant started to be offered as standard in all models of the Mercedes-Benz Actros L family. These features, which were previously standard in Actros L 1851 and 1851 Plus models, are now offered as standard equipment in the entire Mercedes-Benz Actros L family.

As a result of the work carried out in line with the demands of the Mercedes-Benz Actros 1845 LS with a thicker chassis from the market for scrap and excavation transportation with a dump trailer, the chassis thickness of the model can now be increased from 6 mm to 8 mm. With the optional equipment, the front axle and scissors were increased from 7.5 tons to 8 tons, while the tire sizes of the vehicle were changed from 295/80 to 315/80. In addition, the weight variant of the Mercedes-Benz Actros 1845 LS has been increased from 18 tons to 20.5 tons.

In all standard vehicles in the transportation product portfolio, a new 10,4 cm instrument panel started to be offered instead of the 12,7 cm instrument panel. While LED daytime running lights were previously offered in domestic vehicles in the transportation product portfolio, LED daytime running lights and LED signal lamps have started to be offered in all standard vehicles with short cabs in the transportation product portfolio.

In addition to these innovations, the Mercedes-Benz Actros 3242 L Plus package has received special innovations. In the Actros 3242 L Plus package, which has a heated driver's seat, the driver's seat has been replaced with a heated and suspension version.

The Mercedes-Benz Arocs construction truck series, which started to be equipped with the new generation OM 471 engine, also received an engine and transmission developed for high performance and low fuel consumption. In addition to this feature, the product family of the truck in question also offers innovations in the cabin. At Mercedes-Benz Arocs; The new 10,4 cm instrument panel instead of the 12,7 cm instrument panel that increases in-cab comfort, the touch radio with the infotainment system instead of the USB connected radio, and the “fleet management system pre-preparation” option that enables easy installation of the fleet management systems that were previously offered as an option. It is now offered as standard. The daytime running light was replaced with LED daytime running light and LED turn signal light.

Mixer Mercedes-Benz Arocs 4142B model offers a comfortable type steel cabin suspension that will increase driving comfort as standard, while Rear Rescue Tow Hook – Ringfeder for functional use for construction vehicles has been added to the standard equipment in Arocs 4148K and 4851K models.

Mercedes-Benz Arocs tractor family put its weight on technology

Mercedes-Benz Arocs 1842 and Arocs 3351 models started to offer a new 10,4 cm instrument panel instead of the 12,7 cm instrument panel, a touch radio with an infotainment system instead of a USB connected radio and LED Daytime Running Lights.

Mercedes-Benz Arocs 2.5 and Arocs 3353 models with 3358 meters cabin, which have achieved many premium innovations such as Multimedia Cockpit Interactive, ambient lighting, Premium beds and electric sunroof with glass version, draw attention with LED Daytime Running Lights and illuminated Mercedes-Benz star in exterior equipment.

Powershift transmission started to be offered in Mercedes-Benz Atego

Mercedes-Benz Turk also offers innovations in the Atego model, which is used extensively in urban distribution, short distance transportation and public applications in the light truck segment. The introduction of Powershift transmission in all Mercedes-Benz Atego models was the biggest innovation in the product family. In addition to this feature, a new 10,4 cm instrument panel started to be offered instead of the current 12,7 cm instrument panel in all Mercedes-Benz Atego vehicles.

With the introduction of PSM, which is currently offered as a standard in garbage packages, in the entire Mercedes-Benz Atego portfolio, it is ensured that it is a common language between the superstructure and the vehicle.
