The award was presented to Karsan CEO Okan Baş at the ceremony held at the Next Mobility Expo Fair in Milan.

Speaking at the ceremony, Karsan CEO Okan Baş said that they achieved significant success with the vehicles they produced as a result of high-tech mobility solutions. Emphasizing that Karsan has come to the fore with its solution proposals for public transportation systems both in Turkey and abroad, Okan Baş said that they have also started a rapid rise in their export targets in this context.

Okan Baş, who also thanked the members of the jury who made detailed examinations within the scope of the organization, said that Karsan would continue its successes abroad by representing Turkey.

Jury members personally tested Karsan e-ATA!

The 12-meter e-ATA, which passed the pre-selection and made it to the final in the evaluations made within the scope of the award, was personally tested by the Sustainable Bus jury members during Karsan's factory visit in Bursa. The jury evaluated the nominated vehicles with a wide list of criteria such as recyclability, design, energy consumption, emissions, safety, comfort, silence and many more. After the evaluations, 12 meters Karsan e-ATA sustainable public transportation point has high recycling of its components, innate electrical design, full low-floor structure where elderly and disabled passengers can move without encountering any steps, offering the best range in its class, ultra-low energy consumption and It left its competitors behind with many outstanding features such as high passenger capacity. Thus, Karsan's 12-meter electric e-ATA model became the winner of the competition in the urban public transportation category.
