Organized for the 39th time by Kocaeli Automobile Sports Association (KOSDER) with the main sponsorship of Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality, Kocaeli Rally was held on September 17-18, 2022 in 9 stages. First day of the race; The Rally of Turkey was held in 3 classifications, namely the Tosfed Oğuz Gürsel Rally and the Historic Rally. The races, in which 61 vehicles and 122 racers participated in total, witnessed exciting scenes.

During the award ceremony held at Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality Congress Center, Deputy Mayor of Metropolitan Municipality Yaşar Çakmak presented their awards to the successful athletes and congratulated them.
RESULTS IN THE 39TH KOCAELİ RALLY
The results of the 9th Kocaeli Rally, which was held in 39 stages within the borders of Izmit-Kandıra-Derince districts, are as follows: Orhan Avcıoğlu-Burçin Korkmaz came first in the general classification, while 2. Cem Alakoç-Gürkal Menderes and 3. Burak Çukurova-Burak Akçay. In the Turkish Historic Rally Championship, Üstün Üstünkaya-Kerim Tar was the first, Onur Çelikyay-Serdar Canbek was the second, and Ömer Gür-Levent Gür was the third. The winners of the Oğuz Gürsel Rally Cup were first Levent Şapçiler-Deniz Gümüş, second Hakan Gürel-Çağatay Kolaylı, and third Erhan Akbaş-Ersen Yıldız.
