Tesla, the world's largest electric car manufacturer, produced its 1 millionth vehicle in its factory in China. Tesla's “giga factory”, which started production in Shanghai in 2019, continues to be the dynamo of the company. In the statement made by the company, it was emphasized that the production facility in Shanghai has reached the milestone by producing 1 million vehicles in three years. The industrial locality rate of the Shanghai factory, which is Tesla's first production facility outside the USA, is 99.9 percent.

According to Tesla China's figures, the factory, which is an important center for the company, produced 300 vehicles in the first six months of this year and exported 97 cars. The export amount in the same period of last year was 182 thousand. Despite the interruption of production due to the Kovid-41 epidemic in the first periods of the year, the factory broke a record in June and delivered 19 vehicles with an annual increase of 177 percent.
