The first leg of the 2022 AYOSK Aegean Cup, which consists of five races, will be held on Sunday, May 15, by Aydın Automobile Sports Club (AYOSK) in İzmir. 800 athletes will compete in 3 different categories in the race to be held on the 23-meter dirt track created by the Menemen Municipality in Seyrek.
The Menemen Autocross Race, which will start with administrative and technical control on Sunday, May 15, will continue with training tours between 11:00-12:00. The race, which will be run between 10:12 and 30:16 in two separate sections with a total of 30 laps, will end with the award ceremony to be held at 17:00.
AYOSK President Mithat Diker stated that they are working with Menemen Municipality to have an exciting weekend on Sunday, May 15, and invited sports lovers from Menemen and Izmir to watch the autocross race. The Menemen-Seyrek Autocross Track, where the race registration fees of the athletes are paid by the main sponsor, Ege Asal Metal, will take place on the left side, after 2,5 kilometers past Bakırçay University on the Seyrek-Foça road.
