38 models that made it to the finals among 7 candidates for the "Car of the Year in Turkey" selection, which was held for the seventh time this year by the Automotive Journalists Association (OGD), were announced. As a result of the voting made by the OGD members, consisting of journalists who are experts in the field of automotive, the 38 finalist cars, which were determined among 7 candidates, were listed as follows; “Citroen C4, Honda Civic, Hyundai Tucson, Mercedes-Benz C-Class, Nissan Qashqai, Opel Mokka, Renault Taliant.”
As a result of the voting to be held after the test drive on May 10, the model with the highest score will be announced at the award ceremony to be held on June 7. In addition, awards will be given in the categories of "Design of the Year", "Press Launch of the Year" and "Innovative Project of the Year".
“It will be the scene of great contention”
OGD Chairman of the Board of Directors Ufuk Sandık stated that the "Car of the Year" selection, which will be held for the seventh time, created great excitement in the sector and said, "This organization, which witnessed a sweet contest and excitement in the previous years, will be the scene of great contention this year as well. Our members will have a hard time choosing between cars, all of which are more valuable than the other," he said.
