Wang Shouwen, Deputy Minister of Commerce of China, said that they expect international automotive companies to seize the current opportunity and increase their investments in China. Wang Shouwen, Deputy Minister of Commerce and Deputy International Trade Negotiator of China, met with representatives of 17 foreign-owned companies operating in the automotive and sub-industry sector, producing automobiles and their parts, and officials from the Automotive Industry Association.

Reminding that the Chinese government attaches great importance to the use of foreign capital in the manufacturing sector, Wang pointed out that the automotive industry is an important sector in which foreign capital is used in the manufacturing field of China. Expressing that international automobile companies have been encouraged to invest in China by constantly improving the market entry conditions in the automotive field in recent years, Wang noted that they are trying to create a good environment for foreign companies to grow in China with a better service by regulating the relevant policies.

In addition, Wang added that international auto companies provide a wide potential to realize their own technology-based development and fulfill the electric vehicle strategy in accelerating development through innovation and achieving green growth.
