Taking into account the feedbacks from passengers, assistants, captains, businesses and customers, Mercedes-Benz Turk, offering 2021 different innovations in coaches at the beginning of 41, continues to receive positive feedback from the sector.
Transition to Euro VI-E emission level
In the last quarter of 2021, the emission level of Mercedes-Benz engines was raised from Euro VI-D to Euro VI-E. As in the past, Mercedes-Benz Türk, which does not compromise on its environmentalist approach today, continues to develop and maximize the technologies in its buses. The company switched to the use of single DPF instead of double DPF (diesel particulate filter) in the catalysts of engines that meet Euro VI-E emission level, thus reducing annual periodic maintenance costs.

Hardware changes for 2022
Listening to the needs of the industry, Mercedes-Benz Türk started to offer many innovations in the equipment of Travego SHD and Tourismo RHD models in 2022.
Batteries: With the new equipment, the battery capacities of Tourismo 15 RHDs are increased from 225 Ah to 240 Ah. Thanks to this change, 240 Ah batteries have become standard equipment in all Travego and Tourismo models. Thanks to the high-capacity batteries, it is aimed to use a longer-lasting and more comfortable vehicle in winter.
Change in seat fabrics: Uniform and new color options are offered in the seating and backrest areas of Mercedes-Benz Softline seats used in Tourismo 2 and Tourismo 2 RHDs with 15+16 seating arrangement. Softline seats; new fabrics are visually stronger with leather caps and fabric rovings.
Manual folding exterior mirrors: In order to increase the maneuvering efficiency of coaches in tight spaces, manual folding exterior mirrors are offered as standard on all Tourismo RHD models.
Right exterior mirror with entrance lighting: The right exterior mirror with entrance lighting is added to the standard equipment in all Travego and Tourismo models in order to increase the comfort of passengers in and out of the front door.
Boarding assist (tilt) system: In order to increase the comfort of passengers in and out of the vehicle, the boarding aid (tilt) system will be offered as standard in all Travego and Tourismo models. With this system, the right part of the vehicle can automatically tilt about 5 cm during boarding and landing.
Protective foil under the windshield: In order to ensure safer driving by reducing the cracks and breakage of the windshield caused by stone collisions, especially on inter-city roads, the application of protective foil to the under-wiper area, where the most intense stone collisions occur, is standard equipment in all Travego and Tourismo models.
Travego sets standards with its new equipment

Heated windshield: Heated windshield, which increases the comfort of the driver and passengers by quickly removing the freezing and fogging on the windshield in cold weather, is standard equipment on all Travego SHDs.
Electric folding exterior mirrors: To increase the maneuverability of coaches in tight spaces, electrically folding exterior mirrors are standard equipment on all Travego SHDs, worthy of their class-leading position. With this innovation; Right and left exterior mirrors can be folded together or separately, electrically using the keys in the cockpit.
