The company, which donated nearly 40 saplings to the TEMA Foundation last year, signed a special agreement this time with Daikin Turkey, one of the leading names in the air conditioning industry. Within the scope of cooperation; Daikin's fleet has been renewed with hybrid vehicles that will minimize the effects of carbon emissions. With the special agreement made in line with Daikin Turkey's targets to reduce global carbon emissions, 28 thousand saplings are donated to the Aegean Forest Foundation for 20 months, in a way to eliminate the carbon emissions of each vehicle in Daikin Turkey's fleet. With this special agreement, the number of saplings donated by LeasePlan Turkey approached 60 thousand in less than a year.

As one of the world's largest fleet leasing companies, LeasePlan Turkey, which manages a giant vehicle fleet in 29 countries on five continents, has added a new one to its pioneering practices in the operational leasing sector by closely following the policies aimed at protecting the environment. The company, which donated 10 thousand saplings to the TEMA Foundation's We Will Regenerate Life project after the big forest fires in August last year, donated 2021 saplings for each vehicle it rented from August until the end of 10. Thus, the number of saplings donated by LeasePlan Turkey to the TEMA Foundation approached 40 thousand.

Following this exemplary step, LeasePlan Turkey has now signed a special agreement with Daikin Turkey, one of the leading names in the air conditioning industry. With the agreement, it is aimed to plant saplings for 28 months in a way that will eliminate the amount of carbon emitted by each vehicle in Daikin Turkey's fleet. Within the scope of the project, LeasePlan Turkey also donated 20 thousand saplings to the Aegean Forest Foundation. Thus, taking a step towards a sustainable future, the number of saplings donated by LeasePlan Turkey approached 60 thousand before approaching one year.
