At the heart of the new Mercedes-Benz Tourrider is the 6-cylinder Mercedes-Benz OM 471 engine from the Daimler Truck global engine family. This engine, which has a dynamic drive; It offers 12,8 HP (450 kW) of power and a maximum torque of 336 Nm from a volume of 2102 liters. The new Tourrider also incorporates advanced engine technologies such as flexible high-pressure injection X-Pulse, intercooler, exhaust gas recirculation and SCR (selective catalytic reduction). Power transmission in the bus is provided by the Allison WTB 500R automatic transmission with torque converter, which has proven itself over the years in North America.
Meeting the needs of the North American market, which attaches great importance to product quality, in all its models, Mercedes-Benz offers two versions, Tourrider Business and Tourrider Premium. The new Mercedes-Benz Tourrider, produced with three axles, has a length of 13,72 meters (13,92 meters with special shock absorbing bumpers).
