The first leg of Petlas 2022 Turkey Offroad Championship was held in Antalya between 25-27 March. Organized by Antalya Offroad and Motor Sports Club Association with the contributions of Kepez Municipality, the first race of the 2022 season ended with the start ceremony in front of Konyaaltı Municipality on Friday, March 25, after administrative and technical controls. 28 vehicles and 56 athletes competed in the Dedeoğlu forest stage on Saturday morning on the first day of the race and in the audience stage at Clause Tohum Dokumapark on the second day. The struggle of off-road vehicles with difficult obstacles was followed with enthusiasm by a large audience.
At the end of the two-day fight, the EVL Garage team's pilot Kenan Özsoy-Harun Deynek team won the general classification and SSV class first place with Can-Am Mavercik, while Kemal Özsoy-Yiğitcan Yüksel came second with a similar vehicle from the same team, and İsmail Özsoy-Yiğitcan Yüksel from ANDOFF Offroad Team took the third place with a Mitsubishi L200. Ayhan-Arda Arslan won. While the teams won the EVL Garage for the first place, ANDOFF Offroad Team for the second place, Cengiz Çelik – Mahmut Denizer with Suzuki Vitara in Class 1, Zeki Karaçaylı with Okan Dilberoğlu with Suzuki Vitara in Class 2, Mustafa Gül with Mitsubishi Pajero in Class 3 – Serhat Dursun Akdemir and İsmail Ayhan-Arda Arslan in Class 4 were the teams that shared the first place.
After the race, the awards of the winners were given at the award ceremony held at Kepez Neşet Ertaş NGO Center. After the Antalya Offroad Race, which was left behind with a successful organization, eyes were turned to the second leg race to be held in Samsun Vezirköprü on 14-15 May.
