Goodyear EfficientGrip Performance 15, with the highest total score against 2 competitors, won the first place in the ADAC tire test. Goodyear EfficientGrip Performance 2 achieved the highest mileage score with a “Very good” mileage rating.

Goodyear EfficientGrip Performance 15 became the winner of the ADAC test, in which 16 different tires participated in the 2-inch summer tire category, which is the popular tire size of the A and B class vehicle segments.

German automobile club ADAC co-tests with Austrian branch ÖAMTC and Swiss branch TCS zampublished instantly. In the test, in which 185/65R15 tire size with H speed index was examined, many criteria such as dry and wet performance, sound level, fuel consumption and mileage were measured.

In the test report, Goodyear EfficientGrip Performance 16 was recommended by ADAC for “frequent drivers” with the highest mileage in 2 tires tested. Achieving strong results in all categories, Goodyear EfficientGrip Performance 2 achieved the highest overall score considering all test criteria.

Standing out with its mileage and durability features, Goodyear EfficientGrip Performance 2 achieved a 50% longer mileage than its predecessor and 20% longer than its closest competitor, which participated in the test. Thus, Goodyear EfficientGrip Performance 2, whose impressive mileage performance was confirmed in ADAC's latest summer tire test, achieved strong results in other test criteria as well as its “very good” rating in the endurance category. While ADAC placed Goodyear EfficientGrip Performance 2021 in the first place after an intense testing process in 2, Goodyear performed more than double the mileage of some of its competitors in this test.

ADAC's 2022 test measured the performance of tire size 1/3R185, which is widely used on many small cars such as the Audi A65, Citroën C15, Fiat Panda, Renault Clio and Zoe and Volkswagen Polo.

Laurent Colantonio, Technology Director, Goodyear EMEA Region: “The EfficientGrip Performance 2 is the perfect all-rounder for a wide range of vehicle users looking for reliable performance on wet and dry surfaces along with excellent mileage and durability. These features confirm that the award-winning EfficientGrip Performance 2 product line is ready for modern electric cars, while also proving Goodyear's commitment to sustainability. The ADAC test, in which the tire size preferred by small and hatchback vehicle drivers is tested, clearly demonstrates this. We are happy about that,” he said.
