Fatih Dönmez, Minister of Energy and Natural Resources, stated that in 2030, approximately 1 million electric or hybrid cars will be on the roads in Turkey and for this, the infrastructure should be strengthened.
Minister Dönmez addressed the youth at the 2nd University MMG Workshop organized by the University Architects and Engineers Group (MMG).
Stating that Turkey is foreign-dependent in energy, Dönmez said, “Especially in recent years, we have had new targets with the National Energy and Mining Policy. One of them is security of supply. We have to provide our energy uninterruptedly and with high quality. Noting that the number of electric vehicles is increasing gradually, Dönmez said:
