The DS 4 model of French luxury car manufacturer DS Automobiles, which has a unique design with its flawless lines and imposing stance, was chosen as the Most Beautiful Car of 2022. DS 4, designed by DS Design Studio Paris and distinguished from its competitors with its eye-catching design, was awarded the most beautiful of the year by the 37th International Automobile Festival (Festival Automobile International) jury. The 2022 Most Beautiful Car of the Year award is DS Automobiles' seventh award from the International Automobile Festival event in the past eight years.
DS Automobiles, one of the leading French manufacturers of the premium automobile world, started 4 with a special award with the DS 2022 model, which combines elegance and high technology. In addition to its exterior design, DS 4, which has a characteristic, pure and flawless interior design with many 'hand-made' touches, was selected as the Most Beautiful Car of 37 by the 2022th International Automobile Festival jury.
“Aerodynamic, efficient and charismatic”
Thierry Metroz, Design Director of DS Automobiles, said, “The Most Beautiful Car of the Year award is an award given to all the employees who created DS 4 together with their team at DS DESIGN STUDIO PARIS. We worked with our engineers for two years to model the car's technical platform before moving on to the drawing phase. When we started the design process, we had quite a wide range of motion to come up with a new concept. Inspired by the DS AERO SPORT LOUNGE concept, which was awarded by the Festival Automobile International again last year, DS 4 has a unique design in its segment with its unprecedented proportions. The design of the car is expressed by athletic, extremely muscular and compact lines placed on large wheels. It has an aerodynamic, efficient and charismatic structure.”
