With the modern public transportation solutions it offers to cities, Karsan will put a total of 10 e-ATAs into the service of the city of Slatina. Evaluating the first delivery of the 10-meter-long pantograph e-ATA to the municipality of Slatina, Karsan CEO Okan Baş said, “We have become an important part of the transformation in public transportation with our Karsan electrical products, which we offer from 6 m to 18 m in many European countries. We offer flexible and environmentally friendly solutions to the increasing need for large-sized electric public transportation in crowded cities. We made our first e-ATA export to Romania, where we strengthened our presence with its vehicle fleet and after-sales structure. We aim to enlarge our fleet of more than 250 Karsan electric vehicles, which are circulating all over the world today, with our new models that we will deliver to many cities in Europe next year. We are proud of growing in Europe and contributing to our country's exports with our 10-meter e-ATA product, which we have made the first deliveries to the Romanian city of Slatina.” he said.

With its environmental identity, comfort, high performance and ideal dimensions, Karsan's electric vehicles continue to be offered to European cities with an effective dealer and service structure. Continuing to strengthen in Europe, Karsan made the first export of its innate electric e-ATA model to Romania.

Offering modern transportation solutions to cities with its public transportation systems, Karsan has put a total of 10 10-meter e-ATA buses into the service of the city of Slatina. In addition, Karsan signed Turkey's largest electric bus export agreement, signing a total of 56 e-ATA agreements with Romania. With its electric vehicle experience of over 2 million kilometers, Karsan aims to deliver these buses to two different cities in Romania in 2022. Thus, while Karsan modernized the transportation infrastructure of many cities with its environmentally friendly, zero-emission and state-of-the-art electric commercial vehicles, the brand's electric vehicle fleet in Europe exceeded 250.

150 different battery packs from 600 kWh to 7 kWh

Taking its name from Ata, which means elders of the family in Turkish, e-ATA consists of the largest bus models in Karsan's electric product range. Innately electric e-ATA offers a very flexible structure in many areas from battery technologies to carrying capacity and can respond quickly to needs. The e-ATA model family, which can be preferred with 150 different battery packs from 600 kWh to 7 kWh, offers stop-start when full of passengers on a normal bus route, passenger loading-unloading, 12 meters long distance in real driving conditions without compromising the conditions where the air conditioner works all day. It offers a range of up to 450 kilometers in size. Moreover, with its fast charging technology, it can be charged in 1 to 4 hours depending on the size of the battery pack.

It can handle all road conditions with its powerful engine.

The maximum battery capacity can be increased to 10 kWh for 300 meters, 12 kWh for 450 meters and 18 kWh for the model in the 600 meter class. The electric hub motors of Karsan e-ATA, which are positioned on the wheels, produce 10 kW at 12 and 250 meters.zamDelivering i power and 22.000 Nm of torque, it enables the e-ATA to climb the steepest slopes without any problems. At 18 meters, a 500 kW azami power shows full performance even at full capacity. The e-ATA product range, which is fully compatible with the different geographical conditions of different cities in Europe, impresses with its futuristic exterior design. It offers passengers a full low floor in the interior, promising an unobstructed range of motion. Despite its high range, e-ATA does not compromise on passenger capacity. Depending on the preferred battery capacity, e-ATA can carry 10 passengers at 79 meters, over 12 at 89 meters, and over 18 at 135 meters.
