Chinese automakers have been entering the European market at an accelerating pace for some time now. Chinese Aiways launched two more new models to the German market. The first model, the U5, is an electro-SUV with a length of 4 meters 68 centimeters. The design is extremely original and the same zammodern at the moment. The interior has digital hardware and a large touchscreen. At first glance, the cockpit looks really premium. The front-wheel drive Aiways U5 model is driven by an electric motor with 204 HP (horsepower). Depending on the state of the equipment, the car can accelerate to 7,5 kilometers per hour after 7,7 to 100 seconds after starting.
The “Standard” Chinese electro-SUV, which has an autonomy of 63 kilometers with a 400 kilowatt-hour battery, has a sales price of 38 thousand 972,50 euros in Germany. The price of the “Premium” model, which has more different features, was announced as 42 thousand euros.
