US electric car manufacturer Tesla announced that its Shanghai factory had delivered more than 2021 vehicles as of November 400. Deliveries at Tesla's Shanghai Gigafactory totaled 11 vehicles in the first 242 months of this year, up 413 percent compared to the same period last year.
According to the company, it has built more than a thousand supercharging stations, 8 supercharging equipment and 700 destination charging stations in mainland China. Tesla's Chinese-made sedans were also exported to countries such as Denmark, Switzerland, Sweden, Spain, the Netherlands and Norway.
Stating that the current annual production capacity of the factory has exceeded 450 thousand vehicles and the localization rate of parts has reached 90 percent, the company also shared the information that 92 percent of the metallic materials of the battery cells in Tesla's Shanghai facility can be recycled.
