Developed in the TRNC, GÜNSEL set off with its first model B9 to attend the "London EV Show", the electric car fair to be held in London on 14-16 December!
The 100 percent electric car GÜNSEL, developed in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC), is preparing to introduce its first model, the B9, to the world. GÜNSEL B14, which will appear at the electric car fair "London EV Show" to be held in London on 16-9 December, is on the road!
The first model of GÜNSEL, the B9, which was established in the TRNC with the initiative of the Near East Organization, was launched on February 20, 2020 in Kyrenia, TRNC. GÜNSEL B18, which went out of Cyprus for the first time by participating in the MUSIAD EXPO 21 Fair held in Istanbul on 2020-2020 November 9, will go to the world showcase in London on 14-16 December with the London EV Show.
250 designers, engineers and technicians continue to work to make GÜNSEL ready for mass production. The second phase construction of GÜNSEL's production facilities, which completed the first phase investment of its R&D center and production facilities in 2019, is about to be completed in the area where the Near East University campus is located in Nicosia. GÜNSEL, which has made more than 2 test drives in the last year with the heart red, island blue, beach yellow, sky blue, and stone gray prototypes it produces, aims to start mass production at the end of 2022 and reach an annual production capacity of 2027 thousand units by 40.

Emphasizing that GÜNSEL, aside from being electric, is an environment-friendly automobile with its production processes and factory area, Prof. Dr. İrfan Suat Günsel said, “GÜNSEL, which we have developed with the science production and R&D power of the Near East University, is a result of the responsibility we feel for our country, the world and the society”. Stating that he will accompany the GÜNSEL team, which will participate in the London EV Show, Prof. Dr. İrfan Suat Günsel said, “I invite Turks living in Europe, especially in London, to the Business Design Center, where the fair will be held, to share this pride.”
