Completing 2021 with success, the German manufacturer Opel brought the “2021 Golden Steering Wheel” with its battery-electric New Opel Mokka-e and the “International Van of the Year 2021” awards with its electric light commercial Opel Vivaro-e to its museum, while the Opel Manta GSe ElektroMOD, which creates a bridge between the past and the future, with the "Best Concept Car of the Year" award.
Opel models, praised by expert jury members and the public, crowned their success with prestigious awards in 2021 as well. Opel Vivaro-e won the "International Van of the Year 2021" award, while the New Opel Mokka-e won the "Golden Steering Wheel 2021 Award". Making a statement about the prestigious awards won in 2021, Opel CEO Uwe Hochgeschurtz: “We are proud of all these awards. These demonstrate Opel's dedication and passion for its work. Opel Vivaro-e named “International Van of the Year 2021”
The “International Van of the Year 2021” award, for which the Opel Vivaro-e has been awarded, took place in the spring at Opel's headquarters in Rüsselsheim. This award was the start of a series of awards for the best selling battery electric light commercial vehicle. The Vivaro-e was named "Electric Van of the Year" in the UK and subsequently received numerous awards.
