Aygo X exceeds the limits with a canvas ceiling
Aygo also draws attention with its foldable canvas roof, which is the first of its kind in an A-segment crossover model. The new canvas roof is designed to maximize the driver experience. The canvas ceiling, made with high-quality materials in premium models, has been developed to be resistant to water and dust. In addition, thanks to the new wind deflector, a calmer and quieter atmosphere is provided inside when the roof is opened.
Offering a more dynamic ride, Aygo X is 3,700 mm longer than the previous generation with a length of 235 mm. The wheelbase has been extended by 90 mm. The maximum rim size of the Aygo X, which is 72 mm shorter than the Yaris, has been increased to 18 inches.
Designed for the narrowest streets, Aygo X has one of the most assertive turning diameters of its segment with 4.7 meters. Aygo X, whose body width was increased by 125 mm to 1,740 mm, offers a wider living space. Luggage volume has been increased by 60 liters compared to the previous generation, to 231 liters. The height of the vehicle was increased by 50 mm to 1,510 mm.
While the steering wheel is optimally adjusted for urban and extra-urban driving, the new S-CVY transmission provides the best responses in its class, contributing to an enjoyable drive and low fuel consumption.
Equipped with many new features, Aygo X increases the fun of driving with its 9 inch high resolution touch screen. The vehicle, which has Toyota's latest multimedia system, allows smartphone integration with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay with wired and wireless connection.
Taking a big step forward with its safety features, Aygo X will feature the Toyota Safety Sense system as standard and will be a first in this compact A segment. The Toyota Safety Sense system includes many features such as the Forward Collision System, which detects vehicles at higher speeds with a monocular camera sensor and millimeter wave radar, pedestrian detection, bicycle detection, smart adaptive cruise control, and lane tracking assistant.
Aygo X is offered for sale with a 72-liter 1.0-cylinder engine producing 3 HP, which has won multiple awards. With the engine developed to offer more performance and lower consumption, Aygo X is expected to have a fuel consumption of only 4.7 lt/100 km and CO107 emissions of 2 g/km. According to the Aygo X version, it can be preferred with S-CVT automatic transmission or 5-speed manual transmission.
