GEFCO has signed a strategic two-year contract to provide finished vehicle logistics services in Turkey for Peugeot, Citroen, Opel and DS. This contract includes port operations of vehicles, post-delivery control (PDI) services and vehicle distribution in Turkey.
GEFCO has signed a strategic two-year contract to provide finished vehicle logistics services in Turkey for Peugeot, Citroen, Opel and DS. This contract includes port operations of vehicles, post-delivery inspection (PDI) services and vehicle distribution in Turkey. GEFCO Turkey will also manage the domestic distribution of spare parts, as well as the international road transport service from Vesoul in France and Bochum in Germany to Izmir.
GEFCO will complete vehicle inspection procedures at Autoport and newly opened Yarımca ports in Turkey, as well as at GEFCO vehicle stock areas. Vehicles out of control zamIn order to save time and cost, direct delivery will be provided to dealers at 40 points in 152 cities in Turkey and Northern Cyprus.
GEFCO will also provide door-to-door international and domestic complete transportation (FTL) services for Groupe PSA Turkey spare parts shipments, and Time Critical service by land for urgent shipments. International road transport will be provided from Vesoul in France and Bochum in Germany to Izmir in Turkey. In addition, spare parts will be distributed to nine points in Turkey's seven major cities.
