Range more than 100 kilometers
Developed by Turkish engineers and produced in Ford Otosan's factory in Eskişehir, the electric motorcycles will be brought together with corporate customers through rental and sales methods in the first place. Raccoon Pro2 and Raccoon Pro3, which entered the market with Ford Otosan's subsidiary Raccoon Mobility, will stand out among other electric motorcycles with their ability to climb uphill. The Raccoon Pro3 model, on the other hand, will provide comfort in transportation with 3 wheels. Both models will have a 5 kW/h battery and can be charged in 4,5 hours over normal mains electricity. The ranges of Pro2 and Pro3 exceed 100 km.
Prices are unknown
The prices of Raccoon Pro models, which have started to be pre-ordered from corporate customers, will be determined next year. In addition, Arçelik will produce the electric motors of the vehicle, and thus, the localization rate will reach 60 percent. Speaking at the launch of the Raccoon Pro2 and Pro3 models, Ford Otosan General Manager Haydar Yenigün said that they dreamed of producing an environmentally friendly and electric vehicle with less than 4 wheels, and that they produced the Raccoon models in this direction and said, “By integrating our activities in the field of mobility with product development, innovation and production capability. we're taking it to the next level. Within the scope of this purpose, we will develop innovative products and technologies that meet the needs of our customers in the field of mobility with our Rakun Mobility company, which is a 100 percent subsidiary of Ford Otosan.
