New Appointments Made at Mercedes-Benz Turk

In line with the new appointments made in the Mercedes-Benz Turk management team, the managers started to assume their new duties as of October 1, 2021.

Five important appointments were made in the Mercedes-Benz Turk management team.

Barış Sever was appointed as BusStore Group Manager

He has been working as Mercedes-Benz Türk Customer Services – Truck Technical Group Manager since 2014. Peace LoverAs of October 1, 2021, Oytun Balıkçıoğlu takes over as BusStore Group Manager. Barış Sever, who graduated from Yıldız Technical University Electronics and Communications Engineering and completed his master's degree in Business Administration at Istanbul University, started to work as After Sales Services Product Engineer at Mercedes-Benz Türk in 2001, respectively, Spare Parts Order Management Unit Manager, Spare Parts Served as Warehouse Management Unit Manager. In 2014, he assumed the post of After Sales Services Warranty and Truck Technical Operations Group Manager.

Oytun Balıkçıoğlu appointed as TruckStore Group Manager

He has been the BusStore Group Manager since 2016. Oytun BalikciogluAs of October 1, 2021, Kıvanç Aydilek takes over as TruckStore Group Manager. Oytun Balıkçıoğlu, who graduated from the Department of Economics of Boğaziçi University in 2000 after graduating from Austrian High School, started to work as a Dealer Network Development Department/Business Management, Process and System specialist at Mercedes-Benz Türk in March 2004, and became a Unit Manager in the same department in 2009. He assumed the duties of group manager in 2012 and BusStore Sales and Marketing Manager in 2016. In addition to his duty as TruckStore Group Manager, Oytun Balıkçıoğlu also continues his duties as Digital Transformation Office Manager and Digital Data Manager at Mercedes-Benz Türk.

Kıvanç Aydilek was appointed as Mercedes-Benz Türk Customer Services – Bus Marketing Group Manager

He has been the TruckStore Group Manager since 2016. Kivanc AydilekAs of October 1, 2021, Mercedes-Benz Türk Customer Services – Bus Marketing Group Manager takes over from Özgür Taşgın. Having graduated from Marmara University, Faculty of Economics, Department of Finance, Kıvanç Aydilek joined Mercedes-Benz in 2006 as Automobile Dealer Management Project-Sales Processes Specialist. Kıvanç Aydilek, who became Dealer Network Development Unit Manager in 2009 and Dealer Network Development Group Manager in 2012, served as TruckStore Group Manager in 2016.

Özgür Taşgın was appointed as Mercedes-Benz Türk Bus Sales Operations Group Manager

He has been working as Mercedes-Benz Türk Customer Services – Bus Marketing Group Manager since 2019. Ozgur TasginAs of October 1, 2021, Bus Sales Operations Group Manager takes over. Özgür Taşgın, who completed his undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering at Yıldız Technical University and his master's degree in Management and Organization at Marmara University, started to work at Mercedes-Benz Türk Hoşdere Bus Factory in 2003 as a Quality Assurance Engineer. Özgür Taşgın, after serving as Quality Assurance Unit Manager in 2009 and Marketing Center Bus SSH Technical Operations Group Manager in 2016, became Marketing Center Bus SSH Marketing Group Manager in 2019.

Mehmet Karal was appointed as Mercedes-Benz Türk Customer Services – Truck Technical Group Manager

He has been the Country Manager for Australia/New Zealand and the Pacific Region since 2018. Mehmet KaralAs of October 1, 2021, Mercedes-Benz Türk Customer Services – Truck Technical Group Manager takes over from Barış Sever. Mehmet Karal, who completed his bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering at Boğaziçi University and his MBA in Marketing Management at Yeditepe University, started to work in the Spare Parts Marketing department of Mercedes-Benz Türk in 2002. After undertaking various duties in After Sales Services in 2002-2007, he became the Middle East, Africa and Iran After Sales Services Service Manager in 2007, the Middle East and North Africa Bus After Sales Services Department in 2013 and Australia/New Zealand and Australia in 2018, within the Bus product group. He assumed the duties of Pacific Region Country Manager.
