MG Introduces New Concept Model MAZE

The legendary British automobile brand MG (Morris Garages), for which Doğan Trend Automotive, operating under the umbrella of Doğan Holding, is the Turkey distributor, introduced its new concept model MAZE, which shows how urban transportation will be more enjoyable in the future.

Developed by the SAIC Design Advanced London team, MG MAZE draws attention with its design specially designed for the third anniversary of the UK-based design studio. The concept car, which has a compact form and futuristic design, offers its users a real feeling of gaming experience with its open cockpit layout that offers a completely panoramic view of the environment.

MG has unveiled the MG MAZE concept, designed to celebrate SAIC Design's third anniversary and reflect its vision of the future of urban mobility. MG MAZE stands out as a futuristic concept car aimed at new generation car users. Bringing together mobility and play with the slogan of “Get Out & Play”, the concept was shaped by the bold passion of the users for excitement. The fun and agile concept car aims to provide an enjoyable transportation experience to users of all ages and cultures with different interests.

Carl Gotham, Design Director, MG Advanced Design; “With MAZE, we wanted to focus on what the future of the auto community might look like, based on MG's fan base and followers. “The transition to digital is unstoppable, so we wanted to create a concept that connects this digital space with the physical space and gives us real pleasure in driving.” Gotham said, “MG MAZE was born as a reaction to the restrictions and limitations in our social life during the pandemic. We used this concept as a platform for people to go out and explore their city in a way similar to the 'Mobile gaming' experience,” he continued.

Developed on the basis of three basic principles: Gaming, Exploration and Adventure, MG MAZE is designed to offer a new transportation experience to future generations. Having a compact form and futuristic design, the concept car offers its users a real feeling of gaming experience with its open cockpit layout that offers a completely panoramic view of the environment. The upper part of the body, which is made of polycarbonate material, opens upwards, allowing passengers to sit on the seats from the front of the vehicle. In the MG MAZE model, users can use their smartphones as a control interface and key. Users who can log in to the vehicle with their phones are the same. zamAt the same time, thanks to the advanced digital user interface in the vehicle, they can reflect the images and digital contents of their phones on the windows of the vehicle.
