Turkish Young Businessmen Confederation (TÜGİK) members and OSTİM Technical University Rector Prof. Dr. Murat Yülek visited the TRNC's domestic and national car GÜNSEL at his home.
Members of the Young Businessmen Confederation of Turkey (TÜGİK) visited GÜNSEL as part of their contacts in the TRNC. After the test drive, TÜGİK members visited GÜNSEL's production facilities on the Near East University Campus and received detailed information about the vehicle's features and mass production preparations.

Reminding that GÜNSEL celebrated the 9th anniversary of its first launch on October 2016, 5, Near East University Board of Trustees and GÜNSEL Chairman of the Board Prof. Dr. İrfan Suat Günsel said, “GÜNSEL, whose team has an average age of only 28, is an initiative that draws its energy and dynamism from the youth. In this respect, it is a pleasure for us to host the valuable members of the Young Businessmen Confederation of Turkey.” Stating that they are continuing their mass production work, Prof. Dr. Günsel said, “I would like to thank the valuable members of TÜGİK, who shared their support and interest with us during this period, for their visit.”

Making a statement after his visit to GÜNSEL, Turkey Young Businessmen Confederation High Advisory Council President Erhan Özmen said that he liked the performance of the TRNC's domestic car GÜNSEL B9 very much and said, "We believe that in a country left so alone by the world, an idealistic family has made the dream of producing the car of the future come true. I witnessed it,” he said.
Saying that they came to the TRNC for new projects, Özmen said, “The TRNC is breaking its own shell and turning its entrepreneurial spirit into an opportunity. When we look at Singapore today, as a small island country, it competes with the world's major economies. I've been asking myself for two days: Why shouldn't Northern Cyprus be a Singapore?" said.
Stating that GÜNSEL will play a very important role in the TRNC economy, Erhan Özmen said, “I congratulate the Near East Family who contributed to this success. The Günsel Family, instead of going to other countries and making their investments under different conditions, stays in their country and writes a great story, despite all the difficulties. "I can't wait to see what this story will bring to Northern Cyprus in the future," he said.
