The third leg of the Turkish Super Enduro Championship, attended by the best enduro bikers of Turkey, was held in Bursa's Iznik district. In the races supported by Bursa Metropolitan Municipality, the athletes fought fiercely with their rivals.
Organized under the coordination of Bursa Metropolitan Municipality with the contributions of Iznik Municipality, Turkish Motorcycle Federation, Youth and Sports Services Department, the third leg race of the Turkish Super Enduro Championship was held at Elbeyli Er Square in Bursa's Iznik district. In the races that lasted for 2 days, the enduro players tried to overcome the difficult obstacles. The races were held in Enduro Prestige (EP), Enduro Master (EU), Enduro Hobby (EH), Enduro Junior (EG), Enduro Veteran (EV) and Enduro GP classes. Free training and qualifying races also excited the audience. In the final race, the athletes struggled with both obstacles and their opponents on the extreme track.
The magazine start of the third leg of the championship in the National Will Square was given by Bursa Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Alinur Aktaş, Bursa Deputy Zafer Işık, İznik Mayor Kağan Mehmet Usta and AK Party Provincial Deputy Chairman Ufuk Ay. Saying that one of the most important tools in the promotion of a city is sports, President Alinur Aktaş stated that they are trying to host all kinds of sports as Bursa. Expressing that they will bring new sports facilities and complexes to the city, Mayor Aktaş stated that they meet the needs of the existing facilities with the support of the Ministry and different institutions. Expressing that they aim to both normalize the youth and achieve success in the national and international arena, President Aktaş said, “Hatice Kübra İlgün broke new ground. An athlete trained in Bursa got a degree in the Olympics for the first time. He finished third in the Olympics. In the coming years, we will also get different Olympic degrees. We also host national and international sports competitions. We are hosting the 3rd leg of the Turkish Super Enduro Championship, the first two legs of which were held in Kocaeli and İzmir, in Bursa Iznik. Iznik will come to the fore even more in the next period. Enduro players will try to overcome difficult obstacles. I wish success to all enduro players in the races.
Bursa Deputy Zafer Işık stated that the support of the Metropolitan Municipality and Iznik Municipality to sports was once again seen. Explaining that the Metropolitan Municipality has given serious support to every sport branch and enduro motorcross sport, Işık wished the athletes from different provinces success in the races.
Mayor of Iznik, Kağan Mehmet Usta, said that they organized the 9th enduro races this year, and the young people got rid of their accumulated energy with sports. Explaining that they attach importance to this sport, Usta stated that such activities are more meaningful with the support of the Metropolitan Municipality.
At the end of the races that lasted for two days, Deniz Memnun, Rafet Karakuş and Nazmi Malkoç were ranked in the GP category, Nazmii Malkoç, Savaş Serim and Erdem Gülüş in the EV category, Ömer Bulduk, Furkan Asan, Maksut Bucan in the EH category, Soner Metin, Ömer Demirkal in the EU category, Ami Çıragöz, Mehmet Emin Musaoğlu, Anıl Özşeker, Mert Koç in the EG category, Deniz Memnun, Rafet Karakuş and Murat Kökçü in the EP category took the podium. The awards were given to the top athletes by Nurullah Yıldız, Head of Youth and Sports Services Department, Ufuk Yıldız, Sports Affairs Coordinator, and Emre Solak, Sports Affairs Branch Manager.
