Battery Powered Wheelchair Charger Stations Established in Samsun

Samsun Metropolitan Municipality has set up charger stations in 9 different regions for battery-powered vehicles of disabled citizens. Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mustafa Demir said that they will continue to provide every support to disabled individuals.

Continuing to enable disabled people to participate in social life by facilitating their lives, the Metropolitan Municipality has implemented another important project. Having completed the 'Battery Wheelchair Charger Station Project' carried out in cooperation with YEPAŞ, the municipality created charging stations.

Sevgi Cafe, which is close to the energy transmission points in Canik, İlkadım and Atakum districts, Port Junction (Samsun Branch of the Turkish Association for the Disabled), Batı Park, Panorama Museum (Governor's Office), Mavi Işıklar Education, Recreation and Rehabilitation Center, Piazza Shopping Center Courtyard (Under the Overpass) 9 stations, which were installed in the area in front of Cumhuriyet Square, Samsun Nation's Garden and Art Center, started to serve free of charge.

Expressing that they will continue to raise awareness in the society with their social responsibility projects, Samsun Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mustafa Demir said that they will continue to provide every support to disabled individuals. Reminding that every individual is a candidate for disability, President Demir said, “Our brothers with physical disabilities requested a station from us in order to charge their electric vehicles. We immediately started the necessary work and gave the good news. We put our 9 stations into service within the scope of the project in which we cooperated with YEPAŞ. they want zamThey will be able to charge their battery-powered vehicles free of charge.
