Dr. The interface of the mobile software called “Auto Train Brain”, developed by Günet Eroğlu for dyslexic children who have difficulties in school life and learning, was updated by Işık University and Sabancı University Computer Engineering summer interns within the framework of social responsibility. Auto Train Brain reduces the effects of dyslexia, which is a subgroup of specific learning difficulties and cannot be treated yet, and helps children to increase their school success.

Added many new features to the Auto Train Brain UI that kids and families will love

In a clinical study conducted with dyslexic children aged 7-10 years in Turkey, it was observed that neurofeedback and multi-sensory learning produced statistically significant results in spelling and reading comprehension. Günet Eroğlu, during the Sabancı University Computer Engineering PhD program, designed and developed the application under the consultancy of Sabancı University Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences Deputy Dean Selim Balcısoy and Faculty Member Müjdat Çetin. was designed that way.

After the clinical study was completed, many families and children with dyslexia from home and abroad started using Auto Train Brain. As the usage rate increased, there was a need to develop and diversify the product interface as demanded by families and children. Considering that the best university students know the needs of children, since they grew up in the digital world, a new project was created for Işık University and Sabancı University Computer Engineering students to design and arrange Auto Train Brain screens.

Dr. Among the 4107 people who took the COMP55 Android Programming course given by Günet Eroğlu at Işık University, the top 5 projects that developed the most successful interface made it to the finals as a result of the evaluation and these projects were integrated with each other within the scope of the summer internship. Işık University Computer Engineering senior students Beyza Feyzioğlu, Kıvanç Güngör, Seray Şimşek, Sezer Özaltun and Tunç Bora Tamsan worked together on this project as a team and combined the projects they developed individually in the summer internship.

Sabancı University Computer Engineering students, Buse Sümer and Nikan Lahut, who started working at HMS A.Ş. for their summer internship from Sabancı University; The same, which oversees and manages the software arrangements of Auto Train Brain. zamTogether with Sabancı University Computer Engineering graduates Jak Kohen and Zafer Çalık, they configured both the mobile and web interfaces and added new screens; They contributed to diversifying the neurofeedback interface with Spotify, Youtube and ball animation, increasing its efficiency and increasing the quality of the reports received from the system.

With the newly created mobile interface and re-created website, Auto Train Brain is now ready to be used by children with dyslexia both in Turkey and around the world with digital marketing.
