One of the most prestigious awards in Europe, AutoBest winner, New SEAT Leon, 1.5 eTSI 150 HP DSG engine option and Xcellence and FR equipment have been added.

SEAT's flagship Leon, which went on sale in Turkey in January with its new generation, has gained new engine and equipment options. Leon's new 1.5 eTSI ACT DSG automatic transmission option produces 150 HP. Leon's DSG options feature 48V mild-hybrid (mHEV) technology. This system, called eTSI, which improves fuel consumption and emission values, comes into play to support the vehicle during take-off. The 1.5-liter engines also feature Active Cylinder Management (ACT) to maximize efficiency. In some driving conditions the engine operates with only two cylinders to reduce fuel consumption.

Two different hardware options

The new Leon 1.5 eTSI 150 HP DSG engine option can be purchased with new equipment levels Xcellence and FR. While there are more comfortable items in the Xcellence trim level, sporty items stand out in the FR trim level. Features such as 17” aluminum alloy wheels, 'Infinite LED' Tail Lights, Three-Zone Automatic Air Conditioning, 10.25” Digital Instrument Panel, 10” Multimedia System, LED Ambient Lighting are offered as standard in both trim levels.

Achieving 5 stars in the updated EuroNCAP test, Leon offers Driver and Passenger Front, Side and Curtain Airbags as well as Central Airbag in the middle as standard in all equipment levels. It stands out as one of the safest cars in its segment with safety technologies such as Front Assist with city emergency braking function, Emergency Call System (e-Call), Lane Keeping Assist (LKS).

The new SEAT Leon was awarded the “Best Buy Car of Europe 31 – Best Buy Car of 2021 in Europe” by the AutoBest jury, consisting of 2021 experienced journalists representing European countries.
