The first race of the Petlas 34 Turkey Offroad Championship, organized by the Ankara Outdoor Sports and Offroad Club (ANDOFF) in Kızılcahamam with the participation of 68 vehicles and 2021 athletes, resulted in the first place of the Engin Başkurt-Şükrü Mindiloğlu team.
In the race that Kenan Özsoy-Harun Deynek team finished in second place, Mustafa Saray – Samet Zurnacı came third, while Bitci Racing Team won the teams' first place.
Zafer Durmaz-Onur Altan Tan with Can-Am finished first in Class SSV, while Suzuki Grand Vitara and Şehmuz Oğuz-Selman Aybar in Class 1, Suzuki Samurai and Nihat Keskin-Tankur Toker in Class 2 were in Class 3. Mitsubishi Pajero and Ergün Çirkin-Soner Öztürk and in Class 4 the winner of the race Başkurt-Mindiloğlu shared the first places.
Republic of Turkey Minister of Industry and Technology Mustafa Varank, Former Deputy Prime Minister, AK Party Deputy Emrullah İşler, Ankara Provincial Gendarmerie Commander Brigadier General Cemil Lütfi Özkul, Kızılcahamam District Governor Can Aksoy, Kızılcahamam Mayor Süleyman Açar, TOSFED President Eren Üçlertoprağı and many sports fans. The race he followed with enthusiasm was left behind with a successful organization.
Petlas 2021 Turkey Offroad Championship will continue with the second leg race to be held in Denizli Merkezefendi by Denizli Outdoor Sports and Offroad Club (DENDOFF) on 21-22 August.
