The first races of AVIS 2021 Turkish Track Championship will be held by Ülkü Motorsports Club on 10-11 July at İzmir Ülkü Park track.
In the races to be run in two separate categories, a total of 27 cars, 11 in the super group and 38 in the maxi group, will take to the track. Experienced track pilot Ömer Erdem returned to the tracks with Fiat Egea after a long break. zamAt the same time, he will fight with his son Pars Erdem as a rival. Similarly, host pilot Ümit Ülkü, who has 8 track championships in his career, will be on the track in the maxi group with his son Muhammed Ali Ülkü. Famous actor Ümit Erdim will be behind the wheel of the Opel Corsa GSI this time after 2 years, while Kerem Kazaz, the son of champion rally driver Ercan Kazaz, will race with the Opel Corsa GSI for the first time.
After the administrative and technical checks on Saturday, July 10, the program will continue with training sessions. After the completion of the qualifying laps between 15.00-15.45, the Super Group first race will be run at 18.05 and the maxi group first race will be run at 18.40. On Sunday, July 11, the second race of the Super Group will be held at 14.05, and the second race of the maxi group will be held at 14.40.
