Bangladesh Army receives TRG-300 TIGER Missiles
Bangladesh Army put TRG-300 KAPLAN Missile systems developed by ROKETSAN into service with a ceremony. Chief of General Staff of Bangladesh, General Aziz Ahmed, announced that the TRG-300 KAPLAN Missile System developed by ROKETSAN will be delivered to the Bangladesh army by June 2021. With the delivery, the firepower of the Bangladesh Army's Artillery Regiment was further enhanced with the TRG-120 KAPLAN Missile System with a range of 300 km. ROKETSAN met the tactical firepower requirements of the Bangladesh army with the missile system it exported. The deliveries in question were made by sea.
The TRG-300 KAPLAN Missile System, received from ROKETSAN, was introduced at a ceremony held in Bangladesh with the participation of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, Chief of General Staff of Bangladesh General Aziz Ahmed and other officials. In the latest images released by Defense Technology of Bangladesh-DTB, it is seen that the TRG-300 KAPLAN Missile System and missile launch vehicles are ready at the ceremony area. With the ceremony, the official acceptance of the ROKETSAN TRG-300 KAPLAN Missile System was made.
Speaking at the ceremony, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, regarding the TRG-300 KAPLAN Missile System, “I believe this modern system will strengthen the Bangladesh Army and increase the mental strength and confidence of army personnel.” said. Prime Minister Hasina announced that TRG-300 KAPLAN Missile Systems will serve in the 51st MLRS Regiment of Bangladesh Armed Forces stationed in Savar Canton.
