With the support of Uludağ Automotive Industry Exporters' Association (OİB), the free virtual event to be held between 1-14 July, aims to familiarize young people with the automotive industry. Students at the Automotive Summer Camp; will have the chance to participate in many activities such as online workshops, digital factory tours, listening to the developments in the industry from the experts of OSD member organizations and Young Talks attended by OSD Board members. Students will be given a certificate of participation if they attend at least 10 sessions during the camp.
Automotive Industry Association (OSD), which is the umbrella organization of the sector with its 14 major members that steer the Turkish automotive industry, is putting into practice a special experience to introduce the automotive industry to young people. In this context, OSD is launching the Automotive Summer Camp together with the Uludağ Automotive Industry Exporters' Association (OIB). The event, which will be an important platform where students, whose internship opportunities are very limited especially during the pandemic period, will meet with the representatives of the automotive industry, will take place between 1-14 July. With the virtual event, high school and university students will have the chance to learn a lot of new information and experience the automotive industry at the camp, which is organized completely free of charge.
Students can get a certificate
During the camp, students; Online workshops, digital factory tours, OSD and OIB members will have the opportunity to listen to the developments in the industry from the main industry companies, each of which is a global player, and will be able to participate in many events such as Young conversations attended by OSD Board members. In addition, the most up-to-date developments about OSD's leading member companies in the sector will be shared with the participants. Students who attend at least 10 sessions during the camp will be given a certificate of participation. In addition, university students who score at a certain level in the end-of-day exams and complete their project will be entitled to receive a certificate of achievement.
