Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School (OİB MTAL), which was established by UIudağ Automotive Industry Exporters' Association (OİB) to train qualified personnel needed by the automotive industry, is waiting for its new students.
After the results of the High School Entrance Exam (LGS) held the previous week, which will be announced at the end of June, high school preferences will begin on 1 July. OİB MTAL, which trains qualified students with the vocational and academic education it provides, the opportunities it provides and the physical conditions, and the apple of Bursa's eye, will be one of the most important schools in the preferences period.
OIB Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School Principal Metin Sezer, who stated that they accepted students in the 8 percent segment last year, and that they aim to increase this rate to 5 percent this year, said: We were the first in the field of Motor Vehicles Technology and the second in the fields of Industrial Automation, Machinery Technology and Metal Technology. Starting from the 2019-2020 academic year, we are accepting students in all fields with a central examination as a Project School that accepts students by examination.”
It will also train qualified personnel for TOGG
Talking about the opportunities of the school, Sezer continued as follows: “The Ministry of National Education aims to strengthen the relationship between vocational education, production, design and employment with local and national infrastructure by granting the status of a R&D Center school. Turkey's Automobile Enterprise Group (TOGG) opened the "Electric Vehicles Branch" for the first time in the field of Motor Vehicles Technology in order to train the technical personnel to be needed in the factory under construction in the Gemlik district of Bursa.
Sezer concluded his words as follows: “A vocational and academic cooperation protocol was signed with Tofaş Science High School. Automotive High School students and teachers; Cooperation will be made in Tofaş Science High School educational environments on academic development, participation in university preparation courses, foreign language development and career planning and many related issues. Our Accreditation has been approved under the Erasmus + Program of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Directorate for EU Affairs, Center for EU Education and Youth Programs. Thus, for 7 years, we have created internship opportunities for our students in enterprises abroad. We have prepared a future for those who want to finish school and start working immediately, and for those who want to continue their education at the university after high school. In addition, for our students coming from outside the city, we have a hostel with a capacity of 120 students, from 240 boys and girls.”
