Competing in the FIA ​​WEC World Endurance Championship, Alpine ELF Matmut Endurance Team introduced its new vehicle.

Alpine has a great track record of success in endurance racing and is now taking on the challenge to compete in the top category of the FIA ​​WEC and 24H Le Mans 2021.

This new project in endurance racing demonstrates Alpine's competitive ambition, a brand born from competition, as well as its commitment to Formula 1.

Certified by the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile as the Alpine A480, the prototype is built on an Oreca chassis and powered by a 4,5-liter V8 manufactured by Gibson Technology. Equipped with Michelin tires in accordance with Hypercar class regulations.

The A480 will be driven by three experienced endurance pilots, Nicolas Lapierre, André Negrão and Matthieu Vaxiviere.

The racing team will be led by Team Manager Philippe Sinault, as has been the case since 2014, with numerous successes in the LMP2 class.
