The Ministry of Interior announced that the Eren-15 Ağrı Mountain-Çemçe Madur Operation was launched in the provinces of Ağrı, Iğdır, Kars and Ardahan.
The written statement made by the Ministry of Interior is as follows: “2 thousand 65 personnel consisting of Gendarmerie Commando, Gendarmerie Special Operations (JÖH), Police Special Operations (PÖH) and Security Guard Teams take part in the operation.
In order to completely remove the separatist terrorist organization from the agenda of the country and to neutralize the terrorists who are considered to be in the region, the Operation "EREN-15 AĞRI MOUNTAIN-ÇEMÇE MADUR" was launched in Ağrı-Iğdır-Kars-Ardahan provinces.
In the operation, under the direction and administration of Erzurum Gendarmerie Regional Command; (2.065) personnel [(135) operational team] consisting of Gendarmerie Commando, Gendarmerie Special Operations (JÖH), PÖH and Security Rangers teams are employed.
EREN OPERATIONS, which are carried out for the complete elimination of terrorism in the country, continue successfully with the support of our people in a faithful and determined manner.
