Countdown to Car of the Year Competition Continues

The calendar of the "Car of the Year in Turkey-6" competition organized by the Automotive Journalists Association (OGD) for the 2021th time has been determined. OGD members will meet at Istanbul Park for a test drive on Friday, May 21, ahead of the second vote in June. 7 finalist cars will be tested in the organization, which will be held in accordance with pandemic measures.

The candidate who won the most points as a result of the evaluations will be announced in the program that will be broadcast live on social media on Tuesday, June 29, when the award ceremony will take place. Dacia Sandero Stepway, Fiat Egea Cross, Hyundai i20, Peugeot 208, Renault Captur, Skoda Octavia and Toyota Yaris compete for the "Car of the Year in Turkey" sponsored by ALJ Finans, Bridgestone, Intercity, Shell Helix Motor Oils and TÜVTÜRK.

New Competition "Design of the Year Award"

OGD will put its signature under another innovation in the sixth competition this year. In addition to the "Car of the Year", the "Design of the Year" award will also be awarded. OGD members will select three cars whose design they like from among the 27 cars nominated this year. The car with the most votes will win the "Design of the Year" award. The candidate cars to compete for the "Design of the Year" award are as follows:
