Zehra Zümrüt Selçuk, Minister of Family, Labor and Social Services, announced that citizens with temporary disability reports have been extended within the scope of COVID-19 measures for home care assistance and disabled pensions. Minister Selçuk said, "The periodic disability reports will be valid until September 1, 2021."
Emphasizing that the measures taken to ensure that citizens stay away from crowded environments as much as possible within the scope of the measures taken against coronavirus, Selçuk said, “Our disabled people who benefit from home care assistance and disabled pensions should renew their disabled health board reports as the report expires. However, due to the increasing number of COVID-19 cases and the density of health service providers, in order to avoid any disruption in the services we provide to our disabled people, citizens who have a period of disability report that expired or expire as of January 1, 2020 and whose reports have not been renewed, can pay home care assistance and disability pensions until September 1, 2021. they will continue to be able to buy ”he said.
Selçuk underlined the necessity of updating their reports until September in order for those who receive approximately 535 thousand home care assistance and approximately 800 thousand disabled pensions to avoid suffering.
