I also remind you that the countries in the region realize a total of 500 billion dollars of automotive imports and 150 billion dollars of supply industry imports annually. Except for Chile and Venezuela, there is no country in the region with which we have signed a Free Trade Agreement. FTA negotiations continue with Mexico, Peru, Colombia and MERCOSUR countries. "We can say that it is important to be able to export without customs duty in order to get more shares from this big market, and that making a FTA with the countries of the region will give our exporters an advantage." Giving information about the export figures of the American continent, Gülle said, “In the first quarter of 2021, the automotive sector increased its exports to North America by 14 percent and to South America by 41 percent.
