Audi has once again relied on Goodyear in its leading models. The new generation of Audi's grand tourer model, the Audi e-tron GT, which has been using Goodyear tires as original equipment on Audi e-tron SUVs since 2019, will also be equipped with 21-inch Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 5 tires.

Expressing that the Goodyear Eagle F2019 Asymmetric 1, which was launched in 5, incorporates Goodyear's latest technologies, Goodyear EMEA Region Consumer Original Equipment Managing Director Hans Vrijsen said, “This product will meet the needs of a performance-oriented and sustainable vehicle such as the Audi e-tron GT. He said.

The Audi e-tron GT is an electric vehicle that combines sportiness, ease of use and sustainability. With an electric motor on the front and rear axle, the sportiest version of the model, the RS e-tron GT, generates 475 kW (646 PS) of power and accelerates from 0 to 100 km / h in 3,3 seconds. The vehicle with Quattro electric all-wheel drive system distributes all the ready-to-use torque to all four wheels instantly.

"The power and performance of the Audi e-tron GT is maximized with a tire like the Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 5 to give drivers the best driving experience," added Hans Vrijsen, Managing Director of Consumer Original Equipment for the Goodyear EMEA Region.

Goodyear in the Eagle F1 Asymmetric 5, which is considered to be the ultimate in versatile summer tires, has achieved significant improvements in wet and dry handling without compromising driving comfort and minimizing road noise. The Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 5 will be used in both versions of the Audi e-tron GT, with 265/35 R21 front and 305/30 R21 rear tires.

“Goodyear is proud to take new steps towards pioneering the development of tires that meet the diverse needs of electric vehicles, while developing cooperation with Audi, one of the leading electric vehicle manufacturers,” Vrijsen said.
