He visited Eskişehir Campus and received information about TEI's current projects.
Prof. Dr. The team gathered under the leadership of İsmail Demir, after evaluating TEI's current projects, visited the engine test units and observed the engine tests on site. The tests of the TEI-TS1400 engine, which will power Gökbey, were carried out in the “National Turboshaft Engine Test Plate”, which was designed and developed entirely by the work of TEI engineers and technicians, and the TS1400 engine, the first prototype of the TEI-TS3 engine, was held at TUSAŞ with the participation of our President on December 5, 2020. a. Following the delivery of the TS3 engine, the production and assembly of the TS4 engine, the twin sister of this engine, was successfully completed and the planned test of the TS4 engine was successfully carried out with the participation of Demir.
After this test Turkey's first Medium Range Missile Engine Anti-ship cruise was passed to the TEI-tj300 test. This successfully completed test of the TEI-TJ300 Turbojet Engine, which was developed domestically and nationally by TEI, was also carried out at the “National Turbojet Engine Test Plate”.
Demir, who examined TEI's work in the field of reciprocating engines at the "Piston Engines Test Site", participated in the pre-prototype test of the TEI-PD180ST engine here. The ground test of the TEI-PD170ST engine, which is a lighter variation of the TEI-PD180 engine with a single turbo, was also successfully performed.
